I am a former Adjunct Professor in the Department of Exercise Sciences at Utah Valley University.
As a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Adhd, Aspergers; OCD, Tourettes, Tremors, and a Nervous Tik, I share with you how I see the world, and The Mystical Secrets of The Universe.
I have a special interest in tai chi, philosophy, and world mystic traditions.
I have studied and taught tai chi for many years, am a licensed healthcare provider, and am a Fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America.

Preston Flatt
The name Preston Flatt sounds like “pressed and flat”, which can describe keeping low and balanced.
It has that as a secondary meaning.
There is a quote from the Tao De Jing that says, “One who stands on tiptoe is not steady”.
The opposite of that would be pressed and flat.
You’ll find the encouragement to keep steady, low, and balanced in many traditions.
There is a Christian tradition that Christ “descended below all things”.
So it is a good thing to practice balance and keep close to the earth.
That is how and why Preston Flatt became my monastic name.
These writings are just one new angle on things, and shouldn’t be mistaken as being the answer to life, or the sole answer as to what life is all about.
